Most America...Anonymous, it's hard to believe that. Most Americans are pretty casual about most laws. Almost everybody takes the speed limit as a suggestion, many people don't put the front license plate on their vehicle here in Texas, and a substantial minority of Americans do pot. Most people who are up in arms about illegals say things that are categorically about Mexicans, such as "Spanish shouldn't be an option on phone menus" or "They need to quit waving that flag or go back to Mexico". That has nothing to do with their immigration status.

I know there are some people who only object to illegal immigrants. But they're not the ones who are most vocal about it. They're the ones who would be alright with the illegals staying and paying a fine. By and large, the current anti-immigrant movement is the same as such movements have always been; nativist at heart.Nat-Wuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11378831467642601979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7705460.post-34371373950563092672007-10-07T01:03:00.000-05:002007-10-07T01:03:00.000-05:00we hate no one we have laws and they need to be f...we hate no one we have laws and they need to be followed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
