Back to the issues...

If anything, the Swifties flap is keeping Americans from focusing on the real issues. Well, we're not gonna do that here. Among the stories lost in the midst of it all is a report from ABC that 5 American soliders have died in the last 24 hours.

So much for stability.

    The article says three of those soldiers were killed in the province of Al-Anbar, the volitiliy of which was highlighted in a NY Times piece from about a month ago. Unfortunately, Fallujah and Najaf are not the only places of continuing unrest.
