The Year in Review

Well, here it is, the last day of 2004, for which this blog has now been around for the last half. It has certainly been an interesting year; we saw the situation in Iraq turn from bad to worse, a long and bitter presidential campaign, and Americans clash on political lines like they haven't in decades. I can't say it's been a good one (not from our side anyway), but there's no doubt 2004, even moreso than 2000, will live in infamy in the world of politics. And certainly, I think, a defining moment for us and many others, on the left and right. A time in which we all, in one fashion or another, fought for what we believed in. I won't say something corny and dishonest like the results don't matter, but it was a good fight and we look forward to continuing it in the future. And, of course, we will do our part on our little blog.
