More Reasons to Oppose SS Reform

The Washington Post and the Chicago Tribune both have interesting articles this week about privatizing Social Security. The first analyses how the poor face the biggest risks under such a plan. The second descibes how three counties in Texas opted out of Social Security in favor of private plans and how, in general, people got lower returns than they would have under SS.

I think we've established that the poor face greater risks under pretty much every aspect of the Bush's programs. But hey, can't make an omellette with breaking some eggs, right?
