"Iranian Influence Soaring"

Just a general lament: 150,000+ troops in Iraq, and yet we fight a losing battle against influence of neighboring Iran. We can't even competently prove that Iran is sending arms into Iraq...but then again, they hardly need to. A quote from the article:

"America handed Iraq to Iran on a golden plate," says Sunni politician Saleh al-Mutlaq. "Everything Iran fought for in the Iran-Iraq war, America gave to it when it invaded."

Sigh.
