Damaged Youth

The greatest crime of our invasion of Iraq has been the suffering that has been inflicted on Iraq's children. Most of the evil inflicted upon them is being committed by the various factions in Iraq that are at war with each other, and by criminals, but some of it is a result of us bombing or killing them or arresting their parents in the middle of the night. Regardless, all of it is the result of our invasion and the truly disheartening fact of it all is that nothing can now be done to stop it. There's simply no good excuse for what we've done, and fear is the worst excuse of all.
