FC Dallas pulled a rabbit out of their hats as Abe Thompson scored two goals in the last 3 minutes of regulation, pushing FCD over the Columbus Crew 3-1. The win clinched a playoff berth for FCD, and may give them so badly needed momentum going into the post-season.
The Dallas Cowboys play tonight on Monday Night Football, against the struggling Buffalo Bills. In the NFC East, the Washington Redskins crushed Detroit to remain one game behind Dallas in the standings, the NY Giants defeated the NY Jets to go 3-2, and the Eagles had a bye. Green Bay lost against Chicago, and so now only Dallas, New England and Indianopolis remain undefeated.
