Right On

I'm with Fish; "independent" voters are way overrated. The only voters who are independent are those who are too contrary or stubborn or ignorant to admit that they actually line up well with one party or another. People who generally vote one party but are leaning towards another this time are one thing, but the fact that someone doesn't ever know if they're going to vote Democratic or Republican until the last minute is just beyond ridiculous to me. Given the vast difference between the leading candidates of the two major parties, such foolishness is an indication to me of incredible political ignorance or naiveté. Why we should prize such ignoramuses is beyond me.
