FC Dallas Stomps the L.A. Galaxy

The last time the David Beckham show rolled into town, they delivered a thorough whuppin' on FC Dallas, winning 5-1. Tonight was a completely different story, as FC Dallas wins in a rout, crushing LA 4-0 in a game that easily could've been 7-1, as Oduro, Cooper and Avila each banged one off the crosbar (as did Ruiz for L.A., for his part.) As it is, Cooper netted himself two goals two minutes apart, one with a nice assist from Oduro, putting himself at 11 for the year and tied for second in MLS. Oduro got one of his own off of a nice assist from Alvarez, and Abe Thompson added one in the late stages of the game. Frankly there hasn't been much to write about when it comes to FC Dallas. Trade rumors swirl around Juan Toja, who mysteriously was left off the roster, and Cooper, who several European clubs have expressed interest in. But more wins like this and FC Dallas can look forward to having more than simply potential trades to get exited about.
