No More Manas?
U.S. forces in Afghanistan were already feeling the supplies pinch before the Taliban attacked and demolished a bridge along the key supply route from Pakistan. And now it appears that the Kyrgyzstan government has voted to close an Air Force base that is key to the re-supply efforts in Afghanistan. Scott Horton argues that we wore out our welcome in Kyrgyzstan, just as an already difficult mission in Afghanistan is ramping up.
