More Cuba policy changes on the way?
Congress relaxed some embargo rules in the omnibus spending bill they passed a few weeks back and now the Obama administration relaxing rules on family travel and remittances to Cuba. A delegation of U.S. lawmakers has also gone to the island to talk about normalizing relations. For now, it looks as if the Congress may be slightly ahead of the administration on abandoning are long-standing policies, but things are at least moving in the right direction.
