The End is Nigh

For the Dallas Mavericks that is. Tonight they play the Nuggets in Denver, and not only are the odds against them winning that game, but the odds of them getting out of the Pepsi Center alive aren't so great either. Thanks to owner Mark Cuban's shenanigans, Nuggets fans are likely to lay garlands upon the family of Kenyon Martin and lay full cups of beer on the heads of the Mavericks and any Mavs fans that dare to show up to the game in Mavs gear. Still, that win Monday night sure was lovely...especially Dirk Nowitzki's one-man effort to forever establish the idiocy of the TNT NBA studio crew. Dirk deserves a team that complements his abilities, and not the cobbled-together crew that presently takes the floor, but what can you do? Whatever happens tonight, Dirk's likely to school Denver on the manliness of 7-foot white guys from Europe.
