"A Right to be Punished?"
The controversy that ensued following the non-call that helped seal the Mavericks' defeat in Game 3 against Denver now seems a little antiquated, what with the Mavericks having been eliminated from the playoffs last night in Game 5 in Denver. Still, but for that call, in all likelihood the Mavericks would be coming home for a Game 6 even with last night's lost. Basically what I'm trying to say is that even with the loss and the end of the series, this legalistic analysis of Antoine Wright's "right to be punished" following his foul on Carmelo Anthony, is still pretty interesting.
