FCD's Open Cup Dream Over

FC Dallas blew it at what will probably be their only chance at hardware this season and lost tonight in the U.S. Open Cup Final to New England 3-2. They will probably stumble into the playoffs (though tumbling out is also still a real possibility) and shortly be shown the door in the first round, after which they can spend the off-season trying to figure out how to get a real designated player from somewhere overseas.
