All polls done show people thought Kerry won all three of the debates, and he has been surging every since. All that's left now is the ground war. It's up to us from here on out.

"John Kerry won the final presidential debate and produced the biggest shift yet in the actual vote for president. In this national representative survey of 1,030 likely voters, with data collected by Knowledge Networks, Kerry moved into a 3-point leadover Bush, 50 to 47 percent, after the debate. The survey participants began the evening evenly split, 48 to 48 percent, as the country as a whole. But Kerry got a clear a boost from Wednesday's debate, which will very likely reverberate in the comingdays. Kerry gained 2 points in the first presidential debate, according to the Democracy Corps survey, and 1 point in the 2nd TownHall Debate. Kerry also gained 2 points in the battleground states, where his lead is substantial, 54 to 44 percent after the debate. As with nearly all other polls, the Democracy Corps national survey shows Kerry winning the debate by 5 points, 41 to 36 percent. Among independents, he won by 6 points and by 9 in the battleground states. While there are a small number of undecided (61 respondents), Kerry won by 8 points (among college educated women, Kerry won by 20 points)."
UPDATED: A Republican pollster says it is time for Bush to get worried.

Wow, great at last to find an intelligent liberal blog on here! I've not had a blog long and whenever I go exploring all I ever seem to find is identikit republican drone blogs (with their cloned posts; 'only feckless promiscuous women have abortions', 'gay people are evil and wrong', 'guns are great and in fact save people's lives in the US' etc ad nausam). Good to see there is intelligent life across the pond :) Keep up the good work and I hope you get the result you want in November.
The only problem with all of this is that the lemmings are saying the same thing about Bushie.
Indeed. In fact the pundits for both sides seemed to be much more focused on who looked more serious, or had better body language, or didn't scowl. To be fair there are only so many ways you can meausure someone's effectiveness in a debate without diving into matters of substance, but I think Kerry comes out ahead once again for his willingness to offer specifics to which Bush can only offer vague reassurances or slogans.
