Another Alleged Killing

How many more "incidents" do we not know about yet?

According to accounts given by Hashim's neighbors and members of his family, and apparently supported by photographs, the Marines went to Hashim's home, took the 52-year-old crippled Iraqi outside and shot him four times in the face. The assault rifle and shovel next to his body had been planted by the Marines, who had borrowed them from a villager, family members and other residents said.

Hashim's family alleged this weekend that a small group of U.S. servicemen came to them last week and offered the family money to support the Marines' version of the killing.

Look, I'm not pre-condemning these soldiers. This may or may have not happened the way this family says it did. But...it's impossible not to wonder. And while it's one thing to "know" that this sort of thing is bound to happen in this kind of war, it's quite another for the stories to be popping up left and right, all at once, in the wake of Haditha. How many more stories are there? What will we hear about next?

The only news worth hearing at this juncture besides no more body bags is the news that is on all our breathes...Impeachment and removal!
