So it's taken the Washington Post awhile, but now that word is out that Allen will formally concede this afternoon, they're calling it for Webb.

Update: Allen announces his concession. Note: I think Allen deserves some credit for not dragging it out. It was close, and he could've stalled the process down for several more weeks yet, and it was honorable of him not to do so. It would be too optimistic to hope that is a precursor of a new tenor in our national politics...but well, one can hope.
Update II: Though the race was unofficially decided already, Burns has also announced his concession in Montana.
