I have to agree with you and Hitchens -- but it really bothers me to agree with Hitchens on anything.
That's how I felt. I hunted and hunted that article, convinced he'd say something facile and moronic, but to no avail, much to my delight. And for once, his contempt is well and truly justified.
That's the Hitchens that seemed to have disappeared as of 9/11/2001. Go further back and you'll find plenty of that stuff. Which is why he pisses me off so much; he's a raging liberal who converted to Bushism. Anyway, he's right on the money on this one.
