Guiliani: "It depends on who does it"

More proof that were the honorable former mayor of New York to be elected President, we'd be subjected to more of the same nonsense we've seen over the last seven years. In asked whether water-boarding is torture, he replied "It depends on who does it" (via Lawyers, Guns & Money.) That of course is the entire summation of the Bush doctrine of coercive interrogation techniques. As in, when we do it, it's "enhanced interrogation" and when anybody else does it, it's "torture."

Honestly, one has to wonder if the corruption of language has been the worst thing about the last six years.
