Constitutional Conservatism

Conservatives, now wild-eyed defenders of the Constitution! Unfortunately, they do not appear to actually understand the document, which probably comes from eight-years of knee-jerkishly dismissing it as relevant to our modern era (the Constitution ain't a suicide pact, ya know?) However, you can rest assured that the Obama presidency will overnight (literally) produce tens of thousands of conservative constitutional scholars, each armed only with a blog, Google, and complete ignorance of two hundred years of constitutional study that will guarantee that their thinking is both shockingly original and completely unbiased.
